Master Luc, your so cold but your heart is so...warm.

Sarah led a harsh life during her 18 years in the world. She was born in a tiny, rural village within the borders of Harmonia. Born a child of runic privilege, with a Flowing Rune attached from birth, she was looked upon by the other villagers as a witch and was greatly feared. It was not long before her powers caught the attentions of the Harmonian Temple. She was shortly thereafter moved to Harmonia's capital, where her powers were exploited to further the goals of others within Harmonia's power structure. Eventually, though, these same people who sought to gain from her powers began to fear her as well and imprisoned her in the Circle Palace.

It was at this point when a curious Luc came to find out about this so-called "witch". Even with the wards of the Circle Palace, Luc was able to get through using the training he had received from Leknaat. Meeting the young girl and taking pity upon her, he freed her by taking her to Leknaat's Palace. It was there were she learned the powers of sorcery and summoning from Leknaat and Luc, and it is there where she started to develop feelings for Luc. It is because of this new found love that she later accompanied him on his quest to destroy his True Wind Rune. She was also at his side to keep the casualties to a minimum. This is why she was seen at Karaya Village warning the villagers to leave.

During the war, she used her powers in many ways to help Luc with his cause. She used her illusory powers to deceive grassland and Zexen troops, teleported the group from place to place, set up an anger-inducing aura around Karaya, and summoned hordes of monsters from the World of Emptiness. In the end, she used up too much of her energies in fighting off the combined Grassland-Zexen forces and, with her last remaining moments, consoled her dying lover.
